Your wedding day is a living, breathing thing — not a sequence of poses to check off a list. My job is to move through the day with you, staying present enough to catch the moments that make a photograph worth keeping.
I work documentary-style with a formal eye: I won't miss the portrait work, but I'm most alive when something unrehearsed happens — your grandmother's expression during the vows, two old friends catching up in a corner, the quiet moment between ceremony and reception when it's just the two of you.
I've photographed weddings from elopements in Northern Michigan's forests to 300-guest celebrations across Michigan. Every one is different. Every one matters.
